When I overclocked my AMD Athlon 64 CPU I am only able to overclock it to atleast 2.30 GHz. Anything over that my system becomes unstable and fails to boot. My motherboard (for some reason) does not support the use of "Voltage Control" so I can't up my voltage for my CPU. My MSI K8NGM2 MS-7207G BIOS update is 1.60. Computer Will Not Boot, Please Help.
I have just finished building a new computer and it will not boot. When I hit the power button all the fans and LED's come on for about one second then shuts off. The case I have is an AZZA Solano 1000 and the instructions are pretty horrible. Is it possible to upgrade a laptop's video card? My laptop came with 128 Megabytes of integrated Intel video memory (with 4GB's of RAM, 64-bit, so it runs most games very well because it supports HD). I am not afraid of taking my laptop's casing apart, so is there any way I can upgrade it? It is a Toshiba Satellite A505-S980. If I can upgrade it, would any normal PC videocard be good, or are there special laptop ones that I should purchase?

I currently have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop. It runs on Windows Vista. I honestly love this laptop and everything about, the only problem is the overheating. It will frequently overheat and then just turn off. When I restart it, the time zone will be off and a bunch of other settings won't be the same. Okay I had to reinstall windows after removing Ubuntu 9.04 (great OS by the way, run it in vmware now). I go to the nvidia driver download page and download the driver for the Vista x32 bit.
