Anyone have any luck at all getting any version of Linux to utilize the high speed mode of their USB 2.0 card? I have no problems with getting any of my USB stuff to work in Knoppix 3.4 or Debian or Mandrake 10.0. But all version are only using the USB in the slow mode (v1.1). hello, i really need help, my cd drive is working absolutely fine in ms-dos, but when i try to use it in windows it does all sorts of things, sometimes it shows the cd as audio when it is not, other times it tells me that the cd drive is not functioning, and also sometimes it detects the cd, then when i look at the files on it they are a scrambled and have filenames like '??~???__~_???_~~'. i have tried reinstalling windows and updating drivers.. Hi, i am having a problem with my laptop. It is a On a Toshiba Satellite A65-s1067 and it is 2 years old. It was working last night but today when ever i have the laptop pluged in to its charger the charger, battery is clicking. I was wondering who else enjoys what their PC Speakers do for them? I purchased a set some time ago for about 30 U.S (Logitech speakers.) They're actually not bad considering their cheap price tag, i consider them to be one of those rare items where you really get a bargain. I recognize that they aren't "excellent" quality, but sometimes they do surprise. Although their midrange is flat it doesn't matter to me because i listen to music with the EQ midrange set down a bit.

whenever i try to flash my BIOS for my asus k8v se dx, it automatically reboots, but right after that i get the error "CMOS Checksum Bad", and the bios flash is unsuccessful... what's the problem and how do i fix? thanks in advance
