Anyone have any luck at all getting any version of Linux to utilize the high speed mode of their USB 2.0 card?I have no problems with getting any of my USB stuff to work in Knoppix 3.4 or Debian or Mandrake 10.0. hello, i really need help, my cd drive is working absolutely fine in ms-dos, but when i try to use it in windows it does all sorts of things, sometimes it shows the cd as audio when it is not, other times it tells me that the cd drive is not functioning, and also sometimes it detects the cd, then when i look at the files on it they are a scrambled and have filenames like '??~???__~_???_~~'. i have tried reinstalling windows and updating drivers.. Hi,i am having a problem with my laptop. It is a On a Toshiba Satellite A65-s1067 and it is 2 years old. It was working last night but today when ever i have the laptop pluged in to its charger the charger, battery is clicking. Replaced My Laptop Internal Hard Drive Today
I bought this MacBook Pro over 15 months ago and it came with a 160GB (149.1 GB in real terms) Hitachi Hard drive that spins at 5400 RPM and is a bit noisy for whatever reason. Hi all,I have some old soundcard: AudioExcel Theatre, PCI,5+1... and after installing winxp sp2, every time when i reboot, I have to enter safe mode and disable that soundcard because it wont boot. Hello all,There was too many times for me to get stuck with device drivers for computer parts, so any time when I get stuck, I must surf and surf and usless surf to find a compatible drivers... and usualy that device driver is not compliant, or don't work properly. So any of you who got some good experience in this area, or you have some good advice, please respond...

whenever i try to flash my BIOS for my asus k8v se dx, it automatically reboots, but right after that i get the error "CMOS Checksum Bad", and the bios flash is unsuccessful...what's the problem and how do i fix?thanks in advance
