Okay I had to reinstall windows after removing Ubuntu 9.04 (great OS by the way, run it in vmware now). I go to the nvidia driver download page and download the driver for the Vista x32 bit. I currently have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop. It runs on Windows Vista. I honestly love this laptop and everything about, the only problem is the overheating. It will frequently overheat and then just turn off. When I restart it, the time zone will be off and a bunch of other settings won't be the same. Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix a corrupted iPod? I tried to restore it many times and still it can't be fixed. iTunes says it's corrupted and the weird thing was, when I charge my ipod, the screen appears to be different. I have a 5.1 Sound System. It works great in 2 channels but when I switch to 5.1 the subwoofer ain't working. My motherboard has a nvidia 4 ultra chipset so it supports 5.1 configuration. Also in nvidia mixer when I use sound test everything is great and I can hear the subwooofer working as is should. New System Shuts Down After Running About 1 Minute
I have a new ecs extreme motherboard with an apthlon 939 3000+ processor, with 512mb ram a new power supply and new hardrrive. I have a 128m AGP video card from a good machine. All of the itemes I am using have either come from a running system or have been tested in a working computer. My computer will turn on and I can get to cmos setup or to boot from cd, however, after about 1-2 minutes the system just shuts down.

Computer Will Not Boot, Please Help.
I have just finished building a new computer and it will not boot. When I hit the power button all the fans and LED's come on for about one second then shuts off. The case I have is an AZZA Solano 1000 and the instructions are pretty horrible. The only thing that I am worried about not connecting right are the front panel connectors (power/reset/HDD LED), because the instructions do not specify which wires are positive or negative.
