System Can't Detect My Dvd-Rom
Yesterday my system cannot detect my DVD ROM. I have NEC ND-3540A DVD ROM. In My Computer there isn't my DVD-ROM drive, but my drive is OK, I can open it with button on DVD drive. Also in Device Manager is situation like in this attachment. As you can see in drives at CD/DVD Rom section have !, also it says that drivers for DVD-ROM are not ok, but there isn't need for DVD-ROM drivers on XP. I found firmware for my drive, but I can't install because he can't find my drive... R

I currently have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop. It runs on Windows Vista. I honestly love this laptop and everything about, the only problem is the overheating. It will frequently overheat and then just turn off. When I restart it, the time zone will be off and a bunch of other settings won't be the same. When I overclocked my AMD Athlon 64 CPU I am only able to overclock it to atleast 2.30 GHz. Anything over that my system becomes unstable and fails to boot.
